Annual Crab Feed
Saturday, January 27, 2018 – Annual Crab Feed!!! Will be held same place as last year – Ben Ali Shrine located at 3262 Marysville Blvd. Have your working clothes on to put this event together. 5:30 PM Cocktails; 6:30 PM Dinner; 9:00-12:00 AM Dancing. Jami is passing out crab feed tickets – be sure to pick yours up and let’s sell as many as we can!


Bring raffle donations to the event.

Annual Instllation Dinner
When: Saturday, March 3, 2018
Where: Cattlemens, 12409 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova
Cost: 20 Adults, 1/2 Price Kid Meal
Menu Choices: Prime Rib, NY Steak, Teriyaki Chicken, Grilled Salmon
Sign-up by February 23, 2018. Last day to cancel your order without being charged is also February 23, 2018.

28 MUSTANG RUN
A one day run to Nevada (the Carsen City area) for a casual trail in the midsts of wild mustangs. Stock jeep compatable.
MAY

HANGTOWN. Several local jeep/4x4 clubs supply grounds and pitt security for this event. If you are interested in spending a fun day with the racers and their equipment, please consider volinteering for this event. For more information contact Membership: Dana Holland.

 

26 - 28 TOPAZ LAKE RUN
A two night run to the Lake Topaz area exploring the mountanous trails east of Topaz Lake. Stock jeep compatable.

BUCKSKIN JOE TRAIL
Buckskin Joe Trail is Sacramento Jeepers adopted trail.
Time to trim up the brush and do some maintanence on the trail.

15-17 HI-LANDERS POKER RUN. (4) - Rubicon Trail - Fathers Day Weekend
A great social time to camp, hang around with friends and have some fun on the Rubicon Trail.

SLICK ROCK RUN
Two day run.
Moderate trail, high clearance vehicles recomended.

19 - 20 FORDICE LAKE RUN
Not the "Fordice Trial". Base camp around Fordice Lake. Stock jeep compatable.
There are several trails in the vacinity which can be explored to text your prowis.

BLACK ROCK/LASSEN-APPLEGATE
A three day run to Norther Nevada.

BARNY RILEY TRAIL
Trail head attacked at night on first day of run. (leaving for run evening of the 19th for Friday night arrival)

17-18 SOUR GRASS TRAIL
To Stanaslaus Natiional Forest along the Stanaslaus River.
A short trail leading to a spaciaus and relaxing campground next to the river. High clearance vehicles recomended.

DECEMBER
1 Highlanders Toy Run
Saturday, December 1 at 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Hi-Landers Toy Run at Lake Natomas. Caravan with decorated rigs will leave at 10:00 AM and returning with announcement of best decorated rig. Santa will be present so be sure to see him! Bring your toys to donate. A great raffel.

1 Club Christmas Dinner
Saturday, December 1, 4:00 – 7:00 PM – Christmas Social at Cattlemen’s Restaurant at 12409 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova. 4:00 PMcocktails; 4:30 PM dinner; 7:00 PM party is over. Be sure to contact Alan Cooper, 530-409-1544, to let him know that you’re attending!!

16 CLUB COMPITITION
Location to be anounce.
Come try your hand at doing something stupid with your jeep and try to stay compeditive.
In the past we have tried "No Scrambled Eggs" and "Hold your water". Who knows what we will do this year.

19 (maybe) IRON MOUINTAIN SNOW PATROL
Once a year in the winter jeep clubs take a day and patrol a popular snow destination.
We try to keep unprepared folks from doing something stupid, like get stuck in the snow.
If they do, we will help them.
Usually a kettle of hot chocholate sitting around.
